José Puga was born in 1946 in the parish of Rus, town which belongs to Carballo, in the province of A Coruña. He is linked to the parish of Puga, in the town of Toén (Ourense), since 1977. His interest in the wine world began through a corporate campaign launched in the town to encourage vineyards planting.

In 1995, he acquired his first land and began planting vines. In 1998, the first wine of the winery saw the light: Valdepuga. Since then, José Puga has devoted heart and soul to the realization of his wines, being present in the whole process.

For ten years, the wine was made in the family home, until in 2008 the final processing building was opened located in the place of Reboreda. Today, the winery has the capacity to launch half a million liters of wine and is available in 100 percent of Galicia and other parts of Spanish territory.

Felícismo Pereira, Best Winemaker of Galicia, according to the Asociación de Sumilleres Gallaecia, was born in Ribadavia (1965) and has worked for years with the best wineries in the region, as Casal de Paula, Bodegas El Paraguas or Casal de Armán, among others.

This is the fourth generational saga commited to the world of wine to and eh directs one of the most outstanding wine consulting office in the national scene. Member of the Asociación Galega de Catadores, Felicísimo tastes different wines for all galician regulatory boards, participates as jury in national contests and acts as an expert teacher in Enology and Viticulture in several courses at UNED.
